Every service, every instrument.

We work on all electric and acoustic instruments. We specialize in vintage guitars: pre-CBS Fenders, vintage Gibsons, archtops, acoustics, and everything in between. If it has strings, we can work on it.

01

Vintage Restoration

Structural repair, neck resets, era-correct refretting, binding replacement, and faithful re-creation of original components. Restoration that respects an instrument's history rather than erasing it. Return shipping included on every quote.

02

Setup & Intonation

A proper setup changes how a guitar feels and sounds. Action height, nut slot depth, intonation, truss rod adjustment, and string choice, all dialed in together so the instrument plays the way it should.

03

Refrets & Fretwork

Full refrets, fret leveling, crowning, and end dressing. Vintage-correct wire for instruments that call for it. Jescar wire for all builds. Fret ends shaped and polished by hand. Learn more about our refret work →

04

Bone Nuts & Saddles

Hand-cut from unbleached bovine bone, genuine horn, or fossilized mammoth. Properly fitted to the instrument. Compensated saddles for correct intonation. A difference you can hear immediately.

05

Wiring & Electronics

Pickup installation, rewiring, potentiometer replacement, capacitor upgrades, switch replacement, and shielding. Stock restorations or custom wiring arrangements, done clean, quiet, and correct.

06

Modification

Hardware upgrades, bridge replacements, tuner swaps, and custom modifications. Every change is considered in the context of the whole instrument rather than the component alone.

Vintage Specialization

The right hands for old guitars.

Vintage instruments require a different standard of care. The wrong glue, the wrong fret wire, or the wrong approach to a neck reset can permanently affect an instrument's value and character. We keep vintage guitars out of the wrong hands.

Luthier Aryeh East has spent over 20 years working on electric and acoustic instruments, with deep experience in pre-war and vintage American guitars. Every repair decision is made with the instrument's history in mind. Preserve, restore, or modify, but never thoughtlessly.

Pre-war, golden age, or entirely modern, we've done it, and we understand what these instruments mean to the people who own them.

Before you call.

Do you work on acoustic guitars?

Yes. We work on all stringed instruments: electric, acoustic, archtop, classical, and bass. Vintage acoustics and complex structural repairs are a specialization.

How do I get my guitar to you?

Local customers can drop off in Omaha. Contact us to arrange a time. Out-of-area customers can ship to us, and we'll include return shipping in your quote. Instruments should be packed properly, and we're happy to advise on packing if needed.

How long does a repair take?

Most repairs, including setups, refrets, nut replacements, and wiring jobs, are completed in under a week. Major restorations involving structural work or finish repair may take longer. We'll give you an honest timeline when you call.

Do you work on obscure or unusual instruments?

Yes. Obscure European vintage, high-end archtops, niche modern instruments, whatever you have. Every instrument is treated with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Can you tell me what my vintage guitar is worth?

We can give you an informed perspective on originality, condition, and what a repair might do to value, though we aren't appraisers. We can tell you what the instrument needs and what we'd do. Valuation is a separate conversation.
